HAEUNDAE-gu

These documents were designated as Busan Tangible Cultural Heritage No. 24 in December 1993. Haeundae-gu of today was known as Dongha-myeon of Dongnae-bu during the Joseon period. This set of documents was stored in a senior center in Jwa-dong, Haeundae, as a regional record containing valuable information on Joseon’s social, administrative, and cultural tradition and background, as well as details of the late Joseon period’s regional administrative system. This set contains 30 books, 470 pages in total, and was found in Jwa-dong’s senior center. It is now a part of the collection at Busan Museum.
