Songjeong Station

  • Area : Station 1 building and its surrounding area (station building area of 122.4 m2, land area of 4,868 m2, and a 150 m–long rail on both sides of the station building)

  • Location : 60, Songjeongjungang-ro 8beon-gil, Haeundae-gu, Busan (Songjeong-dong)

This station building bears the typical form of station buildings in the 1940s. Aside from being one of the most well-preserved modern buildings in the city center, it is also notable for its art nouveau style exhibited by its iron storage building. Stations such as this were collectively recognized as Registered Cultural Heritage on December 4, 2006, in recognition of their historic value as symbols of transportational and societal change in the early 20th century.
